-6- Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}8/JH.4.4.40. Steering Wheels. It was agreed that we should make a fresh start on the designs of our steering wheel. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} was asked to send to Mr. Breeden the designs of the steering wheel for R.R. and Bentley cars which were produced by G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Paulin. Chromium Moulding. Mr. Ward was asked to send a pattern of the chromium moulding for the B.V. body so that Messrs. W.B. may produce 3 sets of moulding for applying to the remaining B.V. bodies. After the meeting, Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} mentioned to the members of the Derby staff that 2 items of hardware might have been discussed, namely Ventilating windows, wind screen frame. It was requested that Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} should ask Mr. Ward to send samples of these to Messrs. W.B. to enable them to consider their construction and to quote prices. The prices for all quotations by Messrs. W.B. in these minutes are based on 2500 sets and for F.W. 250 sets. It was agreed that it would be only fair to ask the present suppliers of these components to quote for the larger quantities and Mr. Ward was asked to arrange this. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
