R.R. 300 (6B) (XX. 847. 29.5.13) E.P. 4342. 12535 ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. To Mr Royce Order No. Customer's No. XV Re. Double Brakes. & using 2 spring on foot pedal brake When using your hand adjustment scheme no spring is used except on axle, but when your special hand adjustment is not used, we fit an intermediate spring as otherwise when brake lever an axle is on the stops & ropes have stretched the foot pedal will rattle. It seems to me therefore necessary when hand adjustment is not used & a stop is used for back brake that we should keep foot pedal up to its off position without any rattle by using a spring on countershaft. Signed RW/AB This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. R | ||
