Dear Sirs,

With reference to your Order No for Water Pump Glands, your Part No. 85425, we have had some difficulty in obtaining satisfactory flexibility of the size of bellows shown on your drawing.

Although by special treatment we can make bellows suitable for trial samples, we are taking the opportunity of pointing this matter out to you now in the hope that if it is possible for you to modify this bellows size you will do so before any trials are put in hand.

The reason for this situation is that our 1.13/16" bellows have very shallow convolutions and consequently their spring rate is considerably higher than standard.

We would recommend the adoption of a bellows measuring
