To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. Copy to BG. BJ6/H29.5.23. Handwritten: X444T (crossed out) Handwritten: X3840 4-Goshawk-II Car. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG28.5.23. When Mr. Royce was leaving Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence we asked Paris to arrange to fetch 4-Goshawk-II car and send it to London. It was not then considered to be a matter of urgency, and Cartmell was to bring it back on his way from Nice. On receipt of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG23.5.23 we asked Paris when the car might be expected. We have now heard that Cartmell was on his way back from Nice and stopped to do a job at Lyons. He was expected in Paris to-day. We have asked Paris to arrange to send the car on here as soon as possible. It will probably, therefore, arrive this week. B.J. | ||
