In reply to Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}6/JH.21.2.41 and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH.1/SW.26.3.41, we would like to inform you that the 7 gear boxes already instructed are to the specification laid down in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH.1/SW 26.3.41, with the exception, that no provision has been made for the first 13 Chassis produced. To enable us to cope with any production Chassis whether in the first 13 or afterwards we shall require the following parts :- Engine controls to LOP.RE.2328 7 off GB.5112 Servo drive shafts(LOP.GB.4047) 7 " GB.5114 " plate spring ( " GB.4089) 7 " GB.5117 " shaft set screw.
