X/3465 Roy{Sir Henry Royce} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} -------- BY11/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 5. 2. 25. -------- STEERINGWHEELS. -------- Whilst I pointed out that so far as die castings were concerned the difficulty of producing a die casting lay in the fact that we had a complete diameter of rim connected across by four arms, I certainly did not state that there was any difficulty in producing sand castings sound on the rim. The two factors are entirely different. The casting difficulties which occur in a die cast R.R. wheel or a die cast Dover Wheel centre are, as I stated before, precisely the same, a fact which has since been vouched for by Sft.{Mr Swift} stating he can supply any sand castings of sufficient number of wheels to meet your requirements.
