DY.{F R Danby} C. RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}1/HP.14.12.35. Phantom 3 Car Interior Heater. We send you herewith:- LeC.4730 showing the taps on the engine for the Clayton heater. These are a new design of tap made as small as possible so that they can be erected on the engine as a unit. However, if it is desired to get this scheme fitted on an engine quickly we agree to use the old taps which are already in existence on Phantom 2. The size of the Phantom 2 tap is such that it is necessary to insert the cock body into the cylinder and fit the tap to the body afterwards. LeC.4730. herewith. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} | ||
