Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,

For the attention of Mr. F. {Mr Friese} J. {Mr Johnson W.M.} Hardy.

Dear Sirs,

We have received your letter of the 16th instant, and thank you for your Prints enclosed with same. We think we should like to have a 20/25 h.p. Silencer which you mention therein.

Referring to our telephone conversation of this afternoon, we should be grateful if you could let us have prints of the detail drawings tabulated on your layout drawings, J.12534, J.12531, J.12712, as this will avoid the necessity of our making fresh detail drawings.

We are still awaiting the complete set of details for the R.R. Car Heater and cannot proceed with the manufacture of further Heaters until we get these drawings.

We would mention that the Brass Bearing Housing which you sent us for fitting to the unit etc. does not appear to be correct in dimensions, since it allows the front fan to foul the radiating core on this unit. We have remedied this by making a longer fan spindle and inserting a distance piece approximately .450 thick between the fan hub and the face of the bearing bush and the bearing housing.

We confirm we have an order for a B.38 type Radiator for your chassis 4.B.50. but as requested are holding up further work on this radiator.
