Re Austrian Car for the
South of France.
-------

TBB8/L22213 - As requested, I will arrange to take out the necessary papers as soon as the car arrives in London. The photographs of the driver I have duly received.

You need not trouble about photographs of the car, as they now dispense with this formality.

With regard to the driving pass for Sinclair, it will be necessary for him to give a short demonstration on the car to the Automobile Club as soon as he arrives in London. I will, however, have all the necessary papers prepared so that we can take out the papers within an hour or so after you arrive in London.

I should like to know the weight of the car. Perhaps you could let me have this by return.

You will be able to get the parts you mention through in the car alright, but it is possible you will have to pay duty on them at Boulogne. This, however, the R.A.C. representative will attend to for you.

I require the chassis number and also the engine number.
