RE:Shock Damper off Chassis GAU.67.
S.C. Harrison.
We have inspected this damper without dismantling it, and can find no reason why it should be noisy
As this is the first damper of the split piston type to be returned for noise, may I suggest that it is fitted to one of our chassis before it is interfered with in any way, in order to ascertain if it really is noisy.
I am holding the job up, until I hear from you.
