Captain Bowman,
The Car Mart,
40/50, Park Lane,
LONDON. W.1.

Dear Capt. Bowman,

Do you think it would be possible to get hold of one of the latest Studebaker cars, having the double helical standard mesh silent third gear?. If it could be arranged, I would like to take such a car down to Mr. Royce at Chichester early next week as he is very interested in this type of gear.

It is just possible that the firm might decide to buy this car if is satisfies Mr. Royce. In any case, we should of course be pleased to pay for the cost of running it to Chichester and back, etc.

I am asking you about it because you could probably make arrangements without broadcasting the purpose for which the car was to be used, and I should be most indebted to you for anything you can do.

Mr. Worth was up here the beginning of the week and we had a discussion on tyres. They have improved their method of manufacture so much that the covers that we are now receiving are actually better than the Std. Dunlop covers, for out-of-balance limit.

Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
