Dear Mr. West, We have under consideration the question of our taking a licence for the manufacture and sale in this country of the Evans vane-type Fuel Pump for aircraft engines - in this connection it would be very helpful to me if I knew how this design of Pump is generally regarded by yourselves. I am given to understand that it has a very good reputation in the United States. I naturally do not expect you to commit yourself in any way in your reply; all I should like is a general expression of opinion as to this type and design of Pump. Counter complete with cables for your Bentley job. As you know, we also have particulars of the sample Speedometer that you require for the Rolls job; are we to complete this latter instrument, or is it your intention that we shall await your test result on the Bentley instruments before we do so?
