For the attention of Mr.Grylls.

Dear Sirs,

New Type Jacks.

I am in receipt of your telegram of today's date. The double lift model has got to the stage where we are awaiting castings and the triple lift model patterns are not yet finished.

We are having tremendous difficulty with the triple lift owing to the fact that we cannot buy or get anybody to make for us the special section of tubing necessary in sample form. We are having to weld this up ourselves and delays have occurred while we have been trying to obtain a sample from elsewhere.

We are doing all we can but are afraid it will be at least a fortnight before we are ready to submit samples.

Yours faithfully,
FOR DUNLOP RUBBER CO.LTD.,

Frank R Carr
