Bellringer - Repair Manager} c. to EFe X3426 COPY. BY6/P8.5.20. X3426 CHASSIS - STARTER GEAR ON GEARBOX - SEC.6060 X3350 RE FAULT DUE TO THE FRICTION PLATE NOT BEING SUFFICIENTLY STRONG. Referring to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}6/F7.5.20., I am certainly of the opinion that under present conditions we should turn out the above drives locked solid. In order to enable the Works to do this they should fit an extra fibre washer and tighten the whole thing up solid. The extra fibre washer to use will be G.3504. The above point was agreed to at the conference in Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s office yesterday. BY.{R.W.
