Bumping and revolving tests on front wheels and pivots due to torsional stress.

| -2- R1/B3213 arranged with the set-up bolt/shewn. In addition to the bumping test on the front wheels I think that it would be quite well to make the revolving test suggested in Mr Hadin's notes so that we may be able to compare the value of the various pivots when subjected to this torsional stress. This failure shews the advisability of fitting fast cars with wire wheels and pivots near the centre of the wheels as we have in hand. F.H.R. X168 For Shires letter | ||
