On the other hand, the F and E types, are small, and have rather a neat appearance. They are covered with a light metal casing; and the armature is enclosed, which should make them fairly dust and water proof.
A poor feature about all three magnetos, is the contact breaker, with a block of fibre instead of the usual lever, and a very weak looking, controlling spring.
Again, the F and E types have a distributor, similar to that on the Siremann with the six small carbon brushes, and, judging by the heavy tracking on the rotor
