SECRET.

We should very much like to try a foot rest in the SpectreCodename for Phantom III body at present running about at Derby. We have in mind one as fitted in the Cadillac.

If it is difficult to obtain one for us could you please have the Cadillac foot rest removed and posted on to us.

With regard to our conversation re steel mudguards, both the Graham and Essex cars are in excellent condition and no stars can be seen. Neither of the cars have stone shields fitted.

I also made enquiries of Chrysler cars; they also omit stone shields.
