7th December, 1936.

A.R. Smith, Esq.,
General Manager,
Messrs. Ford Motor Company, Ltd.,
Dagenham,
ESSEX.

Dear Mr. Smith,

One of our Production Engineers is particularly anxious to visit Dagenham in order to get information with reference to the Tilghmann system of sand-blasting which we understand is in operation in your Factory.

We should be very much indebted to you if you could arrange this; at the same time, we should be interested to know whether you have succeeded in effecting any improved production methods on Cyanided hardened gears.

Yours sincerely,
