X.8500 X.7500 _________________________ The cast dash on 12-EX was not the sports type, but was we believe the original cast dash, only modified to enable the central lubrication fittings etc. to be used. We should like to point out that the sports cast dash is modified as to the shape alongside the accelerator pedal to give more room for the foot, which was found to be necessary, and was instructed by R.{Sir Henry Royce} We think it will be very necessary to have a cast dash made which is like the sports car in every respect except for the steering column fixing, for which a boss should be provided like that on the original cast dash.
