C. T. WEYMANN,
20, Rue Troyon,

Paris.

Paris, 13th April, 1922.

In answer to your letter of the 5th inst,
we hasten to send you the "Exhausters"which you have ordered.

Should you have any difficulty in fixing
these, we should be obliged if you will kindly apply to
Mr.Lenoir, Rotax Works, who will place himself at your
disposal on our behalf, and will give you any information
you may need.

Mr.Lenoir will also bring to your notice
our new device which permits of the reservoir of the
"Exhauster" being almost entirely suppressed.

As you know, a reservoir of a capacity of
1-2 litres must be fitted around the "Exhauster" in order
that when the engine is running slowly and at full
admission, the depression is insufficient to assure the
regular working of the "Exhauster".

This is obviated by placing a small venturi
tube in the induction pipe, this tube is fixed on a flange,
the incoming gas passing through it continually, instead
of acting directly on the induction, acts through the
venturi. In this way the "depression" is considerably
increased without affecting the running of the car, as you
will readily see when testing this.

This device enables the capacity of the
reservoir to be reduced to 200 cms.

The following firms use our apparatus with
this device:-

Excelsior.
Lancia.
Minerva.
Ballot. (Racing cars)

Mr.Lenoir will confirm all this.

C. T. WEYMANN.
