+719 C. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}6/MA. 22nd., November 1932. Messrs. Ferodo Ltd., Sovereign Mills, Chapel-en-le-Frith. For the attention of Mr.Longley. Dear Sirs, Re. Servo Fabrics in RAD.13. With regard to our telephone conversation of last Friday concerning your difficulty in getting the dents for the staples concentric with the inside spigot diameter. We cannot specify a tolerance for eccentricity of the dents, but can say that the material so far supplied is satisfactory. However we have decided to increase the width of the dents to allow for eccentricity. An altered sent of drawings will be sent to you. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
