Dr. Shearwood,
The Mount,
Albany Road,

Dear Shearwood,

I understand that Dr. Laurie has communicated with you with regard to Pattinson's arm, and should be glad to hear from you as to whether:-

(1) He is fit for clerical work now.

(2) As to how long you think it will be before he can resume his normal occupation which was that of testing, i.e., there was no heavy manual work connected with his job.

Yours sincerely,
