To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. c. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.6/AP.8.2.38 440. B.III. RADIATOR. In order to bring the Wraith and B.III. radiators into line as far as possible, will you please scheme, detail and instruct for B.III. a water outlet and bottom water connection similar to that to be standardised on Wraith i.e. straight radiator outlet pipe and bottom water pipe and curved hose connection - the same pieces being used as far as possible. Will you, for the same reason, detail the necessary pieces in order to use the same filler cap scheme on both cars. Will you also please detail for B.III. the necessary pieces to use a straight radiator inlet pipe and curved top hose instead of the present arrangement, since if it is economical to use this arrangement on the outlet, the same will apply on the inlet pipe. The modification should be included on the next B.III. chassis built. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
