X285 Y4565 &457 It is indeed good news that the above are so effective to reduce high speed steering wobbles. Messrs Day and Hardy should go to Derby if necessary to forward the fitting of these to both chassis for the next 10,000 miles test. Also as soon as possible to fit to both axles, though the back axle is less urgent, and may only need less vigorous ones, but they will probably improve the riding of the cars, especially in the hands of the inefficient. Messrs Day, Hardy, and Evernden, should work at the improvements necessary, and the application, because they will also enable us to allow, and recommend, buyers to fit semi-balloon tyres, providing you agree with me that they are necessary for luxury riding.
