X4202 Extract from R1/G31.8.20. X.4173. RE LOCKS. X.4172. X.3504. X.4202. X.4188. In our future cars the Klaxon contact is being fitted to the steering column, and a new combined fitting is being made to be located in a very accessible position on the instrument board were both ignition are controlled, and a press button is fitted to control the light for the pressure gauges. On this same fitting there is also a connection socket for the portable light, this latter can also be used for putting in a small charge to the accumulators while the car is standing in its garage, which we think is a useful practice. This fitting goes with the R.R. switchboard, R.R. distributing board (see wiring diagram enclosed) the Smith dynamo, and the Smith cutout for same. I do not know the car number at which they will commence, but consider they should be ready for your production. R. {Sir Henry Royce} | ||
