BRAKE DRUMS.
-----------

With reference to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/AD.23.2.32. there are no patents in connection with the brake drums as supplied by Messrs. Lake & Elliott; the brake drums are merely produced from a special cast iron similar to what we use for our chassis cylinder blocks.

There is no reason why our Works should not produce cast iron brake drums equal to those supplied by Messrs. Lake & Elliott in the event of same being standardised.
