X1069 To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG30.4.26. RE. KLAXON HORNS. X1069 X1163 We assume from Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}7/BM28.4.26 attached, that Sales proposition is to have three horns on the car i.e., they will have a 2-note Klaxon and the Boa bulb horn. The 2-note Klaxon means a change-over switch for which room will have to be provided on the instrument board. We do not think the sample switch on 11-EX is a thing of beauty. Personally, I do not see the necessity for the addition of a third horn. We feel sure that Mr. Royce will disapprove of a scheme which means a change-over switch for two electric horns.
