SECRET. To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Copy to Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} -------------------- Re Jacks for Wraith III. ----------------------- We understand that it has been decided for some while to fit Jackall Jacks to Wraith III, but we have been unable to obtain from you any drawings of these jacks, and we understand also that you have not received the set of jacks you ordered. These we believe are now about to arrive and we would be glad if you could obtain for us the drawings of the rams and the pump. At the same time we suggest that we should obtain from Messrs.Smith & Sons the price of a complete set of jacks corresponding to that which we buy for the Phantom III from Messrs.Sessions, as we wish to compare the Jackal price with the recently received cheapened price quoted by Sessions. In the meantime we are going on applying the new cheapened standard pump and rams which will be supplied by Messrs.Sessions for the Phantom III, to Wraith III for fear the Jackall proposition does not materialise. | ||
