'S.S' SHORT CHASSIS FRAME SIDE MEMBERS. ------------------------------------ With reference to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}4/M27.3.29. we have already ordered the short type side members with 6" taken out of the taper portion, but we do not think that the frame makers will have got too far for the 6" to be taken out of the middle straight portion, therefore we have altered our detail drawing accordingly, and the matter is being taken up with them.
