Remarks on the running generally: Preliminary running has been carried out with the primary object of testing the Thermoid clutch facings. 1500 miles have been covered without any trouble developing and the clutch is smoother in engagement than standard. Daily running is now in progress to obtain mileage on the clutch, and the other special features. The leading items in the specification are as follows:- Hykro crankshaft and die cast A.C.6 main bearings; big-end bearings in A.C.6 billet cast. A.C. bye-pass oil filter. Thermostatic control for water circulation with fixed radiator shutters. Wraith steering box and 6.50 section tyres. Hardy Spicer Propeller Shaft. Armstrong Shock Dampers. High pressure petrol pump on side of battery box. Delco-Remy ignition distributor. Lucas regulator. A rear axle with Girling Brakes and thick half shafts to be fitted when ready.
