CYLINDER INSERTS.

As you know, we are trying out the idea of using short inserts pressed into the bores of a normal cylinder block.

Vickers (Iron foundry) produced a batch of liners some time ago in different materials. These should be in our stores, different materials being marked with a different code number.

We would like you to produce -

12 inserts to the drawing C.1.12 attached.

These to be made from existing liners (mentioned above) mark B.106. material, phosphor chrome.

This material is recommended by Leyland, and we wish to compare these proposed inserts with those already supplied in patent material by 'Brico'.
