Phantom III 4 Port Head.

This memo is to confirm our verbal request that you will incorporate the bossing on the cylinder heads E88758 to suit either the fitment of hydraulic tappets or of solid rockers.

It is proposed that the 4 port head will go into production with the existing standard hydraulic tappets and following further experiment the solid rockers will be standardised.

By bossing the head to suit either, then when the solid rockers come along on production the only change necessary will be the drilling of the holes for the rocker studs in a different position, the deletion of the extra bossing can be carried out when convenient. The details of the modified bossing to be issued to HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} as soon as possible.
