(21) Contd. It has been suggested that the mechanism of the controlling shutters should be arranged so that full movement of the control quadrant can be efficiently used, and avoid the present sensitive setting which is now required.

(22). Engine oil level indicator. As an actual gauge for the amount of oil in the crankchamber, this has been commented on as not being very accessible, and it has been suggested that the dial should be marked as "full" or "half-full" etc. and not in specific quantities. or dial left off altogether.

(23). Engine protection from road dirt etc. Are we satisfied that this point is satisfactory.

(24). Awkward bonnet closing. Even on the Silver Ghost type car, this is always a difficult operation, and now seems to be aggravated by the pocket necessary to clear the steering mechanism. Could not some special instructions be given for the fitting of this part of the bonnet so that the bonnet can be closed much more easily than is the case at present.

P.S. Although we are delivering chassis from the Works, I take it complete cars are not yet to be delivered to customers. Advantage of this delay can be made to apply modifications if arranged, as we are already doing with some approved by CJ.
