To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} 1263 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems}6/JH.11.6.37. Will you please get out a scheme for the AC. mechanical pump on the frame (Vacuum pump model with vacuum pump removed and a blank flange fitted). This must be low down and on the near side of the engine. The two positions that look at all possible are :- (1) Behind the steering box where the oil level indicator is. (2) Behind the front enginefoot. Of these the position (1) would give a shorter length of petrol pipe to the carburettor. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/J.B.Dixon. | ||
