To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1113 Kingsbury, June 11th, 1937. 4 1/4 Bentley. Carburettor Flange Joint. To prevent the distortion of the throttle body by tightening up of the flange I would suggest that the joint washers have rings fitted in the bolt holes as well as the centre flange. This would stop the easy squashing of the washer and prevent the distortion of the flange. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/G.W.Hancock. | ||
