Bailey - Chief Engineer} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ) PN.{Mr Northey} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} ) X3592 R1/M2.7.24. RE. RR. IMPROVED BENDIX AND BIJUR BINIONS. X.3592 X.3587 The decided improvement experienced and reported of the above shews the value, commercially and technically, of improved designs and proportions above novelty of design. Both the above pinions were originally taken from the developed American designs, and proved by experience to be defective. They were then re-designed by us to in more logical proportions which I believe will be found to make all the difference between success and failure. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
