Recurring breakages of the exhaust downtake bracket on the 20HP chassis and proposed solutions.

We give below copy of memo MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}9/T.27.3.26 - "From time to time we are getting complaints from Depots that the small bracket supporting the main Exhaust Pipe has broken away. We have had similar experience on cars on test. bracket" to eliminate the possibility of this dynamometer tests. For a time we have been disconnecting this particular bracket during such tests. In spite of this, the breakages still exist. We are putting this before you as you may consider it policy to take action in the matter."
