- 2 - We may find it necessary to incorporate a throttle edge jet in the carburetters to achieve the standard in this respect that is general. There is no doubt that from now on we must use every endeavour to reduce the weight of the Bensport. A substantial reduction in weight, along with its other advantages, would increase the life of the brakes. We must look to our future programme of development to provide this. The tachometer drive failed towards the end of the run, but on this car it is not as finally arranged. The steering lock struck me as being exceptionally good for a car of this type. We might sacrifice a little of this to reduce the lock and width over the front wings, for reducing wind resistance at some time. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
