H & D c. also 1487. To By/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}4/JH.7.2.39. CONTINENTAL BENTLEY V.{VIENNA} Inlet Pipes - Section 5070. Further to your memo. By/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design}1/G.30.12.38. - 1487 file Will you please detail, an air intake bend to suit the 1.750 throttle bore carburetters. It will be necessary to modify the existing Bentley V bend because - (a) The carburetter flanges are different. (b) The throttle body of the 1.750 carburetter is longer than the normal Bentley V carb. It will therefore be necessary to flatten the banjo section of the bend, but at the same time increase its capacity to suit the increased bore of the carburetter. This job is urgent, as we wish if possible to have a bend ready for a chassis in six weeks time. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTC. | ||
