HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} ORIGINAL E1/M23.5.30. Copy to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 25HP. CAR AT WW. x5960 x5410 x5520. Your driver mentioned that this car had a tendency to prance up and down, and was difficult to hold on the road at speed. Our experience confirms this view, and the car seems not so good as previously in respect to this point. R.{Sir Henry Royce} suggests that possibly the front springs are a little too high in rating. Would it be possible for us to pack up the damper valve springs to increase the damper load if you supplied us with suitable washers? E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
