Chichester.

For the Attention of Mr. B. I. Day.

Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letter of the 7th inst., the standard dimensions in which we manufacture Harrison film type radiators are 52, 65, 80, 100 and 124 m/m, which dimensions are increased when it is desired to increase the length of the soldered joints at the back and front of the block to 58, 70, 84, 104 and 124 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}

The above dimensions control our own manufacture of the normal Harrison hexagon type which we sell in this country under the description of Marston Mark II and a modified type which we describe as Mark III.

We understand that your Derby Experimental Department are most interested in the Harrison Bonded core which is only manufactured in U.S.A. at present. The above dimensions are those usually employed for this type of manufacture.

The most important consideration in design is to maintain atrue rectangle for the block, and if it is necessary to insert a starting handle hole in the block itself, it is desirable to use a recangle again with a suitable insert at front and back of the block.

Contd.
