W/Paris. c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} AIR MAIL. X3904 D/BP/Y22/MH.{M. Huckerby}23.5.35. Re: Experimental Car for Testing in France. Please confirm by return that it is still permissible to send a car to France for testing purposes under a Touring Acquit. If so, the Experimental Dept. would like to do so provided the number of cylinders on the car is not disclosed - can this be arranged? If your reply is in the affirmative, would you confirm that the Bank Guarantee should still be sent to Barclays Bank (France) Ltd., Boulogne-sur-Mer, and that this should amount to 84% of the value at the present rate of exchange. Further developments will, of course, depend upon your reply. D/BP. | ||
