40/50 & 20 HP. CHASSIS. X.8410
ROAD SPRINGS. X.5410

You will remember that I have for some time favoured a superior design of simple rivetted on clip instead of the various costly Woodhead, and very costly Firth's schemes. The latter was ruled out entirely because it is still more difficult to repair a spring in a foreign country.

Ought not the 20 HP. car at present in France to be fitted with such road springs?

The riding of this car is distinctly worse than the Phantom I am using. This will be dealt with in another memo.
