The following items have been put forward by Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} to be included in the Agenda for the above:-

WRAITH.

Performance. It was decided at the last meeting that this matter should be discussed again at the next meeting for consideration in connection with the chassis series following the present 'C'.
The Wraith is still subject to adverse criticism in connection with its performance, chiefly lack of acceleration.

BENTLEY V.{VIENNA}

(1) When will Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} be using a car similar to those to be produced?

(2) Progress with the prevention of cracked valve seats.

(3) Continental B.V. - has the first car arrived from Paris and what is the present position and future of this car.

(4) Continental B.V's for Motor Exhibitions - which chassis is it proposed to use for Paris and London Shows?

(5) Is it intended, or possible, to improve the performance of this car in a similar way to what was done with 6.B.IV. when this car was submitted to S. for trial in December 1937 i.e. deturbulated cylinder head with increased inlet ports and 7 to 1 compression ratio, which in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}1/AP. 8.12.37 is reported to give increase in power and smoothness without detonation.

(6) Result of tests with drop head coupe body on this chassis.
