25 HP. HARDY FABRIC COUPLING B EHIND GEARBOX.

We send herewith N. sch. 3484. shewing the
Phantom fabric coupling applied to the rear of the 25 HP.
gearbox. The object of this is to test the valu e of
a torsionalley flexible coupling in this position as
reg ards the elimination of 'Coronation Rattles' etc.

It is not expected that it will ever be possible
to standardise this.
