Dear Sirs, We are returning to you two Bentley thermometers which have fractured capillaries (not flexible type). Will you please convert these to the flexible type (to DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}1360) but - (a) modify the capillary of one (where it enters the bulb) in accordance with our request for a similar instrument in our letter of 23rd. inst. and (b) modify the capillary of the other (where it enters the bulb) as you have done on several other instruments - i.e. provide several small diameter coils at that point. We are also sending you one Phantom III thermometer to D.75625 but with special dial. Will you please modify this to D.75953 (which means that the same dial is retained) and provide the modifications consisting of several small diameter coils at the point where the capillary enters the bulb.
