21st. December, 1937.

Messrs. Ferodo Ltd.,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.

For the attention of J.N.Longley Esq.,

Dear Sirs,

Will you please supply as soon as possible six pieces of our lining GB.2744 only in M.R.3 quality.

We have tested this on our rig and have had it running on one car for about 3,000 miles, and it seems to be, with BZ, the best non-squeak lining you make.

We will confirm the order through the usual channels. You should have the print.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
