P.III GEARBOX - 4 HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

This box has failed on dynamometer owing to a fraction of the retaining thread at the rear of the 2nd motion shaft. Will you please rebuild the box to in-corporate:-

(1) A new production 2nd motion shaft.
(2) New roller bearing at rear of this shaft MRJ.25 supplied to the fitting shop.
(3) New 1st speed gears of the RR type necessitating also a new splined sleeve.
(4) The 3rd speed loose pinion bush to have .003 clearance inside and out, i.e., a total of .006 and also .006 end clearance to test the 'concertina' coupling under extreme conditions.
