Park Ward & Co., Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, N.W. 10. Dear Sirs, re:- Enclosed Limousine - 30-EX. We are now able to give you our detailed experiences in connection with mounting this body on the chassis. These experiences will enable you to modify your jig in many places so that on subsequent bodies many of the difficulties will not occur. (1) The scuttle armature at the back of the dashboard had to be cut out at the sides to clear the web which extends downwards from each side of the pot on the dash. The drawing of the dashboard which you have shewn this web. Also, the side rubber buffers as shewn on the dashboard drawing which you have had not been catered for and the body had to be cut to enable them to be fitted. The depth of the wooden rail at the top of the scuttle was only just sufficient to enable us to get the scuttle isolation bolts in, and this rail in future should be ¾" deeper. You will no doubt wish to modify your full-sized drawing showing these features. (2) The top scuttle ventilator pan was about 3" too long and fouled the body on the back of the dash.
