RE SLOTTED SKIRT TYPE OF PISTON.

Please note that the following modifications have been made to the slotted skirt type of high and low compression piston at HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}' request.

The grinding dimensions have been altered as per sketch below.

One of the taper/locking pins has been made a fit in the piston boss, and the hole for the other locking pin has been made .266 + 10, that is, .016 clearance.

It is also agreed by EH. that low compression pistons which have already been ground to the drawing previous to the above alterations would be O.K. as the above modifications were only considered serious on the high compression piston.

We understand that the percentage of low compressi on pistons required will be 60%
